Donate
Peninsula Home Hospice is a registered charity with DGR status. This means that all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
There are many ways to donate:
Palliative Pals Initiative
At Peninsula Home Hospice, we believe that our donors and supporters are like a Pal, standing beside you, when you need them most. That is why we have launched a new
initiative called Palliative Pals – Be a Pal for Life. Visit our fundraising campaign here to find out how you can make an impact.
Donations made In Memory of a loved one
Any donation can be made in memory of a loved one. This is a beautiful way to honour their legacy.
If you wish to arrange for donations to Peninsula Home Hospice for an event or a funeral we can help you personalise this to make it easy for family and friends to contribute.
Donation Envelopes are also available for Cash or Credit Card information and can be
supplied upon request from reception or admin@peninsulahospice.com.au
Special Purpose Donations
If you have interest in a particular purpose for your donation, please get in touch to discuss.
We have worked with organisations, friends, families and carers of clients to specify
donations for Scholarships, equipment purchase, a special event or overnight respite, just to name a few.
Please call us 03 5973 2400 and speak to Bronwyn Braden Community Engagement Officer.
Bequests
A bequest is a gift left in a Will (be it money, shares, property, or other valuable items). It is an investment in the future, in the well-being and quality of life for others who come after us, a true legacy.
While family and friends should rightly come first, the addition of a gift in your Will to a cause you are passionate about means you can touch many lives. Your gift, no matter how large or small, will make a difference.
PHH thanks and honours the individuals and families who have left bequests to PHH,
knowing that this special gift will have a significant impact in the future by allowing us to plan services and programs. PHH advises you to seek professional legal advice to confirm the correct expression of intent in any new or existing Wills.
Suggested wording to include in your Will:
I give, devise and bequeath unto Peninsula Home Hospice for its general purposes, (a specified sum), or (specified items), or (the residue of my Estate) free of all duties, and the receipt of the Director or other authorised office of the time being shall be a complete and sufficient discharge for the executor(s).

“Just as dying is part of the life of an individual, and part of the life and history of a family, caring for those among us who are dying is part of the ongoing life of the community”

The Red Hill Opportunity Shop
The Red Hill Opportunity Shop (RHOS) opened in 1983 and has a rich history with Peninsula Home Hospice. They are our longest-standing partnership and we are very grateful for their work.
The shop is located at 33 Mechanics Road, Red Hill, and open every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10am until 1pm.
As well as providing a hub for people to meet and a popular op shop, it has also donated
over $1.3 million to Peninsula Home Hospice since it began.
The RHOS has a wide variety of constantly changing goods for sale, and its pricing policies ensure that turnover is quick. It is run with the expertise of any retail outlet and is one of the more endearing op shops that remain, having no paid employees.
New volunteers are always welcome, so if you can spare some time, the Op Shop would
love to hear from you. They do have a lot of fun! Donations are also welcome but not large items, electrical or baby goods.
Keep up to date via facebook.com/redhillopshop or email redhillopshop@gmail.com get in touch with them or join their mailing list.
